Miles That Matter
Three walkers, approximately 100 miles, six days — and an Island coming together for its neurodivergent children and young people.
Around the Island, one step at a time
Chris Reilly, Billie-Jo Cody and Ian Radcliffe walked roughly 100 miles around the Isle of Man in six days — raising awareness of neurodiversity and additional needs, in support of Diverse Minds Community.
Every mile brought people together — and started conversations about neurodiversity, inclusion and what families experience.
An Island-sized effort
How Miles That Matter met Diverse Minds
Through Laura and ManxLife, the walkers connected with Diverse Minds — and agreed that money raised on the Island stays on the Island.
The support went far beyond fundraising. It showed what happens when a whole community gets behind something positive.
What the funds will support
The £1,579.84 raised (after fees) is being reinvested straight into the work of Diverse Minds Community.
That means family support, awareness work, sensory and educational resources, and future projects for the Island's neurodivergent children and young people.
We'd also love future funding to help children who struggle to access traditional education — including appropriate online learning.
Thank you, Chris, Billie-Jo and Ian
