Money raised here never sits still — each fundraiser has made the next step possible. Here's exactly how, because you deserve to see it.

Each fundraiser makes the next thing possible

  1. Parish Walk

    £707.78 after JustGiving fees were deducted

    Our first big fundraiser — and our foundations. It made us members of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme and kitted DMC out for the wider community: gazebo, flags, banners, collection buckets, stickers, wristbands, printing, sensory resources and educational materials. It also funded our interactive awareness activities — the Myth or Fact game, a headphone activity showing how competing sounds affect concentration, handwriting and sensory activities, hands-on resources for children and families — plus help towards public liability insurance.

    What this made possible Everything above was bought before the World Pilates and Wellness Festival — without the Parish Walk, we couldn't have attended an event that size.

  2. World Pilates and Wellness Festival

    £1,000 donated specifically to DMC

    The Parish Walk equipped us, so we could run a DMC stand at the festival — meeting many more children and families and building connections. Ramsey Crookall raised over £21,000 through the event for its participating charities, with £1,000 donated specifically to Diverse Minds Community.

    What this made possible One fundraiser made the next possible: the Parish Walk got us to the festival, and the festival brought another £1,000 back into DMC.

  3. Miles That Matter

    £1,579.84 after fees were deducted

    Chris Reilly, Billie-Jo Cody and Ian Radcliffe walked approximately 100 miles around the Isle of Man over six days — raising awareness of neurodiversity and additional needs while supporting DMC. Their challenge brought the Island together and started conversations about neurodiversity, inclusion and what families experience.

    What this made possible Funds raised on the Island stay on the Island — supporting family support, awareness initiatives, educational and sensory resources, community activities and future projects.

  4. Cash donations — collection buckets

    £307.14

    Loose change, kind words and generosity from across the Island — every coin dropped into our collection buckets at events and meetings.

    What this made possible Small donations add up: they help keep our monthly support meetings, resources and awareness work going.
