Quick answers to the things families ask us most.

Can't find what you're looking for? Get in touch — we're always happy to help.

Who can join Diverse Minds Community?

Any family of a neurodivergent child or young person. No formal diagnosis is needed to join us or come to our regular support meetings.

Is there a cost to join or access support?

No. There's no membership fee, and regular support meetings are free unless a particular event says otherwise.

How can I get support for my child?

Contact us by email, social media or the contact page. We can't give medical or professional advice, but we can listen, share information and signpost you to services that may help.

Do you provide professional or medical advice?

No. We're a parent-led community organisation, not a replacement for medical, clinical, educational or other professional services. What we offer is peer support, information and signposting.

How can I attend an event?

Upcoming events are shared here and on our social media pages. Where booking is needed, we'll say so clearly.

How can I volunteer?

Contact us through the website or by email, and tell us a little about how you'd like to help.

How can my business support Diverse Minds?

Fundraising, sponsorship, volunteering, donations, resources, event support or collaboration — get in touch and we'd love to have a conversation.

How can I nominate a child for an award?

Nominations for the Better Together Awards of Excellence 2027 will open on this website. The Awards page will carry full eligibility details, categories, deadlines and the nomination form.
